Transparency and honesty

Britannia Pharmaceuticals Ltd (BPL) firmly believes transparency and honesty are essential in maintaining and upholding confidence in the pharmaceutical industry.

Below is the Methodological Note detailing the approach taken by BPL with regards to the collection and submission of all Transfers of Value (ToVs) to Patient Organisations, International Healthcare Organisations, and members of the public, as mandated in the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) Code of Practice.

All payments disclosed are in the currency in which the payment was made in. i.e. Euros and Great British Pound (GBP)

Data collection

Financial data for each year was reviewed for ToVs made to Patient Organisations, International Healthcare Organisations, and members of the public. The data was cross referenced against records captured by the medical and commercial teams of completed engagements with Patient Organisations, International Healthcare Organisations, and members of the public.

No indirect ToVs have been made to Patient Organisations, International Healthcare Organisations and members of the public.

For members of the public, disclosures are aggregated into patients. Disclosure is not made against individuals. UK payments made to UK Healthcare Professionals and UK Healthcare Organisations can be found using this link.
